"Wendi L. Ittah, 55, of Manassas VA, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2019 with her family by her side. Wendi was born on July 23, 1964 in Portland, Maine. She is the daughter of the late Brenda E. Bullen, step-father James J. Bullen, and the late Harold F. Norman. Wendi graduated from Lake Region High School with high honors and spent a year in Costa Rica as a foreign exchange student, as well as participating in the National Honor Society and AFS. She attended George Washington College, The University of Maine in Orono, and The University of Phoenix, where she majored in International Relations and achieved her MBA. Wendi was a very ambitious young woman who learned both Spanish and Hebrew throughout the course of her travels. After living in Israel for three years with her husband and son, Wendi relocated to the northern Virginia / Washington D.C. area where she devoted her life to raising her son and working as a Federal Sales Manager for a major cyber security company. She put her son through The College of William and Mary. Wendi, like her mother, loved her flowers, her wildlife and her birds, especially her cardinals. She was strong and courageous as she battled her chronic illness with grace. She loved her family deeply. She is survived by her former husband Matty Ittah of Israel, her only son Ariel and his wife Nadia of Virginia. She was blessed with the news of her son and daughter-in-law expecting their first child just prior to her passing. She is also survived by her brother Peter Vachon and his wife Karen, sisters Cindy Worcester, Margaret Bernier, Heidi Mercer and husband Steve, and by her bother Tom Bullen and his wife Liz, as well as nine nieces and nephews. A family memorial service will be held at a later date."
