    "Our beloved father and husband, Mark Wayne Banning, lost his brave fight with cancer and departed this life in peace at home on April 2, 2019.

    Mark was an army brat and traveled around the world with his parents. He graduated from high school in Heidelberg, Germany. Mark pursued a degree and career in electronic engineering. He worked for the federal government at the Food and Drug Administration as a cybersecurity network engineer. He retired from FDA in March, 2019.

    Mark was born in San Antonio, Texas and just celebrated his 62nd birthday on March 2.

    He leaves his loving wife, Mary Sue Banning, his beloved children, Roberta Korzen, Lorene Thomas, Mark K. Banning, and Laura Halfacre, his mother, Patricia Banning, his sister, Kathy Abel, and grandchildren, Kaila Banning and Brady Thomas. "
