"Mark Tuten, 53, of Rutherford Glen, went to rejoice in heaven on Monday, May 14, 2018, after a battle with cancer.

He was a wonderful friend to many and a devoted father. Fly high with the angels, friends and family, Mark, you will be greatly missed.

Mark leaves behind his beloved daughter, Haley N. Tuten (and her mother, Doris Carl), both of Spotsylvania County, a son, Kaley Hopper, of Tennessee, his ex-wife and beloved friend of many years, Donna Wyatt Tuten, four sisters, Darlene Vandevander (Dave), of Lynchburg, Pamela Winslow, of Alexandria, Teresa Morris (Glenn) of Tennessee, Robin Cooper (Joel) of Tennessee, two brothers, Kendall Tuten, of Tennessee and Michael McVaney of Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Nancy M. Tuten, a brother, Bill McVaney, two uncles, two aunts, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Coy Tuten and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Morris.
