"William Stacey Hess, 51, of Lorton, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at a friend’s residence.

Stacey was the son of the late William C. and Peggy L. Hess.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby L. Hess and a niece, Brandise N. Hess.

Stacey is survived by a daughter, Jessica D. Hess, of El Paso, TX, a sister, Angela M. Hess Golomon (Pat Wickline and Lexi Hampton), of Waynesboro, a nephew, Dwight S. Hess (Angel Wright), of Rhoadsville, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He also leaves behind his little princess, Faith Haynes, that loved him dearly, and his best buddies; Rylan Hess, Whitten Young, Dallas Young, and Bobby Holdridge III.

Stacey’s passion was gardening. He had a green thumb and loved to watch his garden grow. His professional life started at the age of 10, when he learned how to operate heavy equipment and finish concrete while working at the family business, Hess Concrete of Woodbridge, with his father and uncles.
